To completed our review to this (Zotac 9600GT supreme) graphic card, I dedicated to find voltmod for this card. Like what I have said before, this card is using the diffirence method to control the GPU voltage, in the reference card there was new method, where the voltage control IC's using digital ( DAC) method to control the output voltage. But, this card is using diffirence IC's to control the voltage. The IC's where used in this card is just using the standard method. I try to find out the GPU and memory voltage mod, and below is the result.
Do this voltmod with your own risk !!!vGPU Mod
The default resistance value is 1.6K ohm, to rise up the voltage, just connect 50K ohm VR to the spot given on the picture.
vMem Mod
For the memory voltage mod, just connect 20K VR on the spot on the picture to ground. The default resistance value is 608 ohm.
Pencil trick is possible to apply on this mod, to do that just scratch the resistors on the picture using 2B pencil. Don't forget to check the output voltage by connecting voltmeter positive probe on the spot that I give on the picture.
