PipeRock series was one of the best Tagan’s product, this series is bulid by Topwer but using Tagan UL Certification. Topwer is an OEM where produced so many PSUs brands include Tagan.

The Package and Accessories

Okay first of all, lets take a look at the box, we’re very happy to see the box where there is you can find some useful information about the general spesifications like the number of cables and also what power cored type of yours. Tagan seems to sparate the power cord models depend on the regional market – you can see that on right side of the box. 

This series have so many accessories like power cord (model depend on your regional), pocket, two bands for cable, anti-vibration rubber,  screwdriver, five screws, the unit cover and tagan certified badge. Eight of the modular cable is place in a cloth wrapper. The connector unit is :

• 1 x 24 pin Connector
• 1 x 8 pin EPS 12v connector
• 1X 4 pin EPS 12v connector
• 4 x 6+2 PCIE connector
• 8 SATA connector
• 7 MOLEX connector*
• 2 Floppy Connector
• 1 Ground wire cable

*6 connector are modular and one was onboard.

The PSU Unit

Although this unit is 800W the model is look like 500W. The cooling system using single 135mm fan. Left side of the unit there is a nameplate contain several information that we can’t found on the box like power mapping table and also the S/N bar code.
